Student Chapter Social Media Takeover

SPE invites you and your Student Chapter to "Take Over" the SPE social media accounts for a day to tell our audience about your chapter, recruit new members, promote an event, share your research, and more!

Some tips for a successful social media takeover: 

  • Plan the takeover for a day of a student chapter activity (Networking event, speaker, etc)
  • Plan ahead and schedule content throughout the day on multiple SPE channels
  • Go Live on Instagram for increased engagement and plan a short interview or glimpse into the chapter activities
  • Don’t just promote your chapter or activities, share content from multiple sources and tag them for more reach
  • Offer a unique perspective that SPE followers might not otherwise get and highlight your chapter that way
