Event Visa Invitation Letter Requests

Received a request for a Visa Invitation Letter for your chapter event?  These requests are handled by the host Chapter, as you must adequately vet the validity of the requests.  Issuing Visa letters to unqualified people opens SPE and your chapter up to serious legal concerns.

Use caution — it is very common to receive a request from people not at all related to our business, who want to obtain an invitation letter just so they can enter the US, sometimes for questionable purposes. It is SPE HQ policy that we never issue a visa letter for an unknown person until s/he has registered for the event and paid the registration fee.

A copy of a sample letter found here is sufficient for many countries. Some however, may require more information.
