SPE Announces Four-Year Contract Extension with CEO Patrick Farrey

January 6, 2021: SPE’s Executive Board announced today a four-year extension of its employment contract with Patrick Farrey, SPE’s CEO. The new contract will run through December 31, 2024. Farrey joined SPE as CEO in June 2017.

“I am happy that we were able to reach an agreement with Mr. Farrey to extend his employment with SPE,” says SPE President Dr. Jaime Gomez. “SPE’s Executive Board began a transformation process about the same time Pat was hired. During the last three years, with Pat’s support, we have made significant operational improvements, reaffirmed the Society’s Vision and Mission, and developed a long-term Strategic Plan that is creating a more agile and sustainable society. With Pat’s leadership we will continue this process as we build a better Society for plastics professionals worldwide.”
