Part Three of the Earth Day Sustainability Series

Composite materials are widely used in many industries because of their unique properties such as low weight, attractive price, wide stiffness range, long fatigue life and good wear resistance. Thermal analysis techniques such as DSC, TGA, TMA and DMA are ideal for characterizing such materials. The most important advantage is that properties can be measured as function of temperature or time over a wide temperature range, from –150 to 1600 °C.

In this Webinar, we will show how thermal analysis is used to analyze composite materials and present some typical examples of samples measured by DSC, TGA, TMA, or DMA. We will cover:

  • Introduction
  • Composites
  • Thermal analysis
  • Industries and applications
  • Instrumentation and applications
  • DSC, TGA, TMA & DMA
  • Summary

Receive a succulent for attending this webinar. If you attend all 3 webinars, you'll receive a YETI tumbler and be entered to win 2 annual park passes for national parks.
